A good independent school with a focus on the individual needs of the child, not just academic results.

So proud of Oakleigh Grammar. The hard work, the effort to improve and genuine concern for the children, mind, body, and spirit. Thank you for keeping God in our School xxx

We enrolled our daughter in the Arrowsmith Program run by Oakleigh Grammar for grade 3 as she was struggling in mainstream school. It was the best thing we could have done. After 3 years in the program, she is thriving in mainstream school and is off to High School next year.

We have been at Oakleigh Grammar since our son was in 3 year old ELC, this year being our 10th year at the school.  We have both our kids there now and are very happy with the school and the progress our children are making, not only academically but also socially and as people and having a strong Orthodox Christian ethos along with a 21st century view of education makes this a great school for us.  Would highly recommend you consider Oakleigh Grammar.

Our son Thomas has been attending the Arrowsmith program at Oakleigh Grammar for the last five years and he has now come to the end of his journey.

It is a brilliant program and it has helped Thomas in many ways.  It has helped him strengthen his cognitive capacities and the range of learning difficulties, inclusive of reading, writing, comprehension and logical reasoning.  It has also helped him with his problem solving, his visual and auditory memory and his processing speed.  More importantly, Thomas has become more confident, both in his academic and social skills.

We are very pleased with the guidance of all the  Arrowsmith staff and the leadership shown by Mr Wayne Stagg, who is the head of the Arrowsmith program.  They have facilitated all of Thomas' learnings over the last five years and his progression to enter his next chapter of his academic studies into a mainstream college.

We will truly miss the Arrowsmith family, where we have made many life long friends during our time in the program.

We highly recommend the Arrowsmith program for any student who requires assistance with their cognitive function.

I have participated in the Arrowsmith Program since 2017. I would describe this program at Oakleigh Grammar as phenomenal, and beneficial on so many levels. It’s truly been life-changing for me and without this program I don’t think I would be in the position I am today.

By this, I don’t just mean academically, but socially and emotionally. There have been several changes and benefits from this program that I can recognise in me. Too many to mention here. However, I will say my short-term memory is stronger, my mental math is better and I’m far more confident in social settings.

Importantly, my family, friends and Arrowsmith teachers also see these changes in me. I have to say that during these past 3 years I have felt as though the Arrowsmith classroom is my second home. Here, I have the opportunity to share my stories, my ups and downs with people who genuinely care, respect and understand me.

I don’t feel judged. This being my final year in the Arrowsmith Program, I want to thank my family, teacher and peers for everything they’ve provided me so that I could become a better Danica.  This has been an important part of my life, but most importantly, my unforgettable, life-changing Arrowsmith journey.

Great school.  My child did the Arrowsmith program and anybody who is thinking about it really needs to sit down with those that know at this school and go through all the benefits.  Totally worth every cent and more.  To watch them go in leaps and bounds when before they were sluggish is something to see.

At a dinner with all the parents who had children doing the Arrowsmith program there was not one parent who didn't think it was exactly what their child needed.  It was story after story of how each child grew and prospered.

Feel free to message me directly, I'm happy to answer any question.

My daughters commenced schooling with Oakleigh Grammar (OG) from January 2019 as International Student. It was their first exposure to the schooling in international environment. Both the daughters got passionately connected with all the teachers and staffs of the OG. It was difficult to transfer them to elsewhere because of their mental attachment. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding support and guidance of all the teachers and staffs of the highly reputed School. I am very grateful for the knowledge imparted to my daughters during their stay in this esteemed school. The experience in OG will remain as a remarkable milestone in their life. I am truly indebted to OG for the contributions to my daughter’s upbringing and grooming. I wish OG to reach to the pinnacle of glory with all the successes.

Good place for Saturday school, grounds reasonably clean, facilities are all in good condition. School has undergone moderate renovations of the inner courtyard area. I can't speak for members of staff or school during the week as we don't go here.
