Beautiful views and great staff.The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful views that set the perfect backdrop for our day. The food was outstanding—so many of our guests commented on how delicious and well-presented everything was. Most of all, the staff including Steve were incredible on the day: attentive, friendly, and clearly experienced, ensuring everything ran smoothly without us having to worry about a thing.

Turning around a wedding in 5 months is not easy but thanks to the team at Vines this was made possible. Sue and the teams willingness to negotiate was greatly appreciated when requesting a wedding around Christmas time on short notice. Once locked in, the wealth of resources provided is substantial and aids the planning process. The events team of Rodney, Stephen and Angela were super responsive throughout the planning phase and made you feel at ease in the days leading up and on the big day.We had so many compliments on the day from guests about the incredible facilities including the views, wealth and quality of food and incredible spaces for photos. As bride and groom, we had some incredible photos too in vineyards available on site and the comfort knowing a contingency marquee is available in the event of bad weather was great, even though it was not needed.We couldn’t have asked for much more with our wedding at vines and just blown away with the feedback.We hope to return to Vines as guest in years to come and would certainly be recommending it to friends and family

Hi Sue,I just wanted to say how absolutely amazing our reception was last night.I attended a wedding at The Vines a few years ago and remember saying to Ashleigh how beautiful it would be if she ever got married there. At the time she wasn’t even dating anyone, but she instantly loved everything about the venue.When I messaged you back in July at such short notice and found that the date was available, it truly felt like it was meant to be.The feedback from our guests about the venue and the food has been exceptional — everyone was so impressed. Please pass on our thanks to all of the staff, as they were absolutely wonderful and made the night run so seamlessly.There is honestly nothing I could fault. Had an absolutely fantastic time at our wedding at Vines of the Yarra Valley. It is such a beautiful venue that is the perfect size for a wedding of just under 120. From the moment after our first visit we knew it was perfect for us. Having access to the bridal suite all day to get ready in was great as well, so glad we used it. It's a big space and great for large bridal parties.And the food - incredible!! Had so many compliments from our guests who just loved it.A big thank you to Rodney, Sue and Angela who were all great to work with throughout the planning process. It felt very seamless - they are very good operators and true professionals!

We had our wedding at the Vines on 12th October this year and everyone on the team, Rodney, Sue, Angela and George has been so incredible to us. :)Firstly, every correspondence and planning leading up to the day has been so responsible and responsive. I have Rodney and Angela to thank for this! Thank you for reassuring us that you are team is the best in the business and completely exceeded our expectations on the day of our wedding.Secondly, the FOOD. Everyone kept complimenting how great the food was and the portion size <3 We've had several family and friends who told us that this is the best wedding food they've ever had at weddings and for that, I'd love to thank the chefs and the waiting team for this exceptional experience for our loved ones.Thirdly, Sue, Rodney and George- I cannot express how grateful I am to have you all present on the day (at different times). Whilst the weather was slightly unpredictable and my guests were concerned, and flowers had arrived late- the team at Vines really managed the situation so professionally and handled any concerned guests with the utmost professionalism and respect.Thank you for supporting us (Both the groom and bride) in managing the entire day and it went so much better than we could have ever expected.My heart is forever grateful and I wish nothing but the best for the team in the many many years to come. Vines of the Yarra was the best decision we made when choosing a place to hold our wedding. I can’t thank Rodney and team enough for helping us to create the perfect day. The grounds are stunning, with an undercover option if the weather turns nasty, and a dedicated space for canapés; there is a gorgeous bridal room with a balcony and natural light which makes for great photos, and a place to relax while you’re getting ready for the big day. The food was absolutely divine as was the wine, and they made the whole process of planning the wedding a breeze. My guests are still talking about the venue, the food, and their whole experience in general! I highly recommend booking a meeting with Vines if you are thinking of a gorgeous winery style wedding, with amazing views, and a beautiful ceremony & reception space all in one.

Vendor ReviewWe regularly provide DJs & musicians for weddings at Vines of the Yarra Valley, and it’s always a fantastic experience.The food is absolutely delicious (& the popcorn chicken canape omg!), making for a memorable dining experience for guests. The venue boasts a great-sized dancefloor, perfect for a lively celebration. The staff are incredibly experienced and always a pleasure to work with, ensuring everything runs smoothly. We had the most amazing experience at Vines of the Yarra Valley for our wedding! The venue is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a beautiful atmosphere that made our special day feel even more magical. Our guests were in awe of the venue, and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how incredible the food was! The entire team was fantastic, and we have to give a special shout-out to Rodney – he was incredible! From the moment we arrived, Rodney went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We recently held our wedding at Vines of the Yarra Valley in January and couldn’t recommend more highly! From the day we booked Rodney and Angela were fantastic coordinators and extremely responsive.The views are stunning and the grounds are always perfectly manicured.The food was absolutely a standout, generous amounts and so delicious! Despite having a guest list of 150, all food was served hot and served and cleared together, no wait times.The volume of guests were comfortably seated and still had plenty of room to dance the night away.We can’t thank the Vines enough and will be talking about the special day for the rest of our lives!

We recently had our wedding at Vines of the Yarra Valley in December 2024, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.A huge thank you to Rodney, Angela, Stephen, and head chef Nino – the whole team were incredible from start to finish. Their professionalism, clear communication, and warm hospitality made everything run so smoothly, and they genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Plus, they were always happy to answer all of our many questions along the way.The food was another highlight. Our guests are still talking about how fresh, flavorful, and generous the portions were. It definitely exceeded our expectations!The vineyard itself is absolutely beautiful. We also loved the floor-to-ceiling windows that let us take in the stunning vineyard views throughout the reception.Overall, Vines of the Yarra Valley went above and beyond in every way. If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with a friendly, professional team and amazing food, we couldn’t recommend it more. It’s a true hidden gem in the Yarra Valley!

He was always responsive and ready to assist with any questions or requests, which made the entire planning process so much easier and stress-free.On the evening of the wedding, Steve was wonderful. He was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we were well taken care of and that everything ran seamlessly. This allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the celebrations with our guests.One of the key reasons we chose Vines was that the venue is exclusively yours for the day, unlike other venues that have the public in for lunch. Having access to the bridal suite in the morning was also a major selling point. Being on-site meant the bridesmaids and I could enjoy a calm, relaxed morning to get ready and soak in the excitement of the day—all while taking in the stunning views! The grounds were equally amazing, providing perfect backdrops for our photographs.Every detail of the day was handled with such care, making the day unforgettable. We couldn't be happier with our decision to get married at the Vines. The venue is absolutely stunning and left a very nice impression on our guests. We loved everything from the moment we arrived. The team were fantastic, they offer great packages with lots of inclusions which helped alot with planning. They went above and beyond for us from start to finish, and were always quick to help. Rodney, Sue and Angela genuinely wanted us to have the best wedding possible. The food was quality with plenty to go around, which our guests loved. The catering team were lovely too, even signing our photo guest book, wish was a nice touch! 😊 Highly recommend this place!

We had our wedding at Vines last weekend and honestly 5 stars just does not come close to doing them justice!! Everything was so flawless - from the food, to the beautiful scenery, the coordination and table settings - everything completely and utterly exceeded our expectations. Our coordinator Rodney was fabulous from the get go - he ensured everything ran so smoothly on the day and gave us so many wonderful ideas that helped make our day so special. We were so blown away with everything, and our guests have not stopped raving about how beautiful this venue is. The food was unbelievable and their ability to cater to various dietary requirements was second to none (we can vouch their vegan food is EXCEPTIONAL). I expected our wedding day to be a little more chaotic than at was but we were just so calm and relaxed knowing Rodney had everything organised and under control all day. Could not recommend these guys enough!

We had Rodney as our coordinator and he was fantastic, he was very thorough, gave us great recommendations and was very accommodating! Our guests had a lovely time and everyone commented on how incredible the food was. We were very happy overall and would definitely recommend this venue to others for a wedding!

I had the privilege of DJaying here yesterday. The staff were courteous the Venue looked newly renovated , the scenic view was spectacular and the food was very good. Plenty of room on the dance floor for dancing and the music does not travel over the guests to get to the dance floor like other reception centres. Definitely 5 stars. 🎧🎤

Having worked as the tailor for HOUNDSTOOTH TAILORS and supplying the suits to many weddings in the Yarra Valley, I must say this has to be one of the absolute best venues out here.The food, wine and venue is an absolute 10/10. I Couldn't recommend this place enough.11/10 stars

On a couple's special day you want things to run smoothly and despite the weather the team at Vines did not put a dampener on proceedings.An obliging, friendly crew put on an excellent reception with plenty of food and drink from start to finish for approx 120 guests.There was enough room to move between tables although the bridal table was a bit tight.The dance floor was smaller than other venues however this presented no dramas for the revellers.Vines is located in a beautiful setting making it an ideal venue for wedding or major event photography (on sunnier days) and also for simple aesthetics.Have no idea where the venue sits in terms of cost. Definitely not in the budget category.A good night all round amongst the vines

My wife and I spent a good few weeks looking at venue in Yarra Valley and Mount dandenong area, we would look at a venue and talk about how we could change the venue to make it work for us. However when we finally got to vines, as we were driving in, even before we got to the venue we knew this was the one. The venue is absolutely sutnning any time of the year in any weather conditions, the staff were exceptional. George, Rodney and the team were great to work with and accomodating and made the process simple. We appreciate their work and pulling together easily the smoothest sailing wedding ie been to and fortunately it was ours. Couldnt have ask for better support and team to work alongside and the day was picture perfect. Thanks guys!!

We had our wedding here back in March 2023.The vines of the Yarra valley was an absolute DREAM! When they say the best views in the Yarra valley, they mean it. The team were amazing, answering any question at anytime. Rodney was the most amazing wedding coordinator, who stopped at nothing to make sure everything on our day was perfect. Incredible venue. My partner and I just had our wedding on the 19/02/23 and could not be happier. I’m a self admitted control freak (lol) and can be difficult to deal with when under pressure, but the team at Vines were so patient and calmed me right down any time I had any concerns. A special thank you to Zoe our wedding coordinator for going above and beyond and answering all of my 500 emails promptly and Angela the owner for also doing the same. The night was even better than I envisioned and I am so thankful for everything you all did for Jeremy and I. The venue is also gorgeous and there are a lot of inclusions that take a lot of stress away when planning your day. Future brides, don’t look any further! Thank you so much!

We had our wedding here and it was the best day! All the staff are incredible. Zoe looked after us and her advice leading up to the wedding as well as on the day was superb! All our guests said it was the best venue they have been to and everyone said the food was amazing! If you are looking to have your wedding here look no further! We had our wedding on the 18/12/2022 and all I can say to future brides is that you WANT to get married at The Vines of the Yarra Valley.Since we confirmed our date they have been nothing but amazing, replying to emails so quickly, answering the brides 100 questions and being super flexible. We couldn’t thank the owners enough, even though we couldn’t make our numbers they didn’t just take our money they offered us other suggestions to make our day even better. A massive thank you to the ceremony coordinator Zoe, who was amazing on the day. When we did have a hiccup instead of stepping back and getting the bride to deal with it, she called the company and got them to come back and fix it and let the bride relax the morning of the wedding. Steve the reception coordinator, was amazing! There was no glass left empty and the night ran so smooth! My guest’s loved the food and still a week later they are still telling me how good the food was! Overall if you want a beautiful wedding where your guests are leaving happy with full belly’s and endless photos of the beautiful scenery, The Vines is the place for you!Thank you again!!

I shot a wedding video here at Vines of the Yarra in September. And even with the on-and-off rainy weather, it was a very beautiful location with very pretty views.And the staff are nice to us too 🙂 That always helps us get great images for a bride and groom 🙂

Lorenzo and I cannot begin to express our gratitude for the amount of attention, professionalism and support the Vines offered us at every step of our wedding planning journey. It is no secret that planning a wedding is an immensely stressful task (even without a global pandemic and La Niña) but the Vines made this process so much easier. We would like to extend our thanks to Zoe who was just an absolute delight to work with. Zoe’s warmth, sincerity and attention to detail made all the difference in the lead up to our big day. Such a beautiful venue, a wonderful location to enjoy a special day. We celebrated a lovely wedding at Vines of the Yarra Valley and could not be more impressed. The care for customers, impressive venue, and food are all top notch.The day was slightly damp but that didn’t dampen our spirits due to of course the happy occasion and the superb location.The venue is a few minutes drive from Lilydale and nicely sign posted on the right hand side of Ingram Rd Coldstream. Driving up the driveway provides an awe inspiring view of the Vines of the Yarra Valley vineyard with a hint of the grandeur afoot in the magnificent reception venue. There is plenty of parking and mobility impaired accessibility.After the wedding ceremony the newly wedded couple took advantage of the picturesque surroundings to have their wedding photos captured whilst the guest enjoyed pre-reception drinks adjacent to the reception venue.The dinner reception was delightfully presented with decor, surroundings, food, and service. Everybody enjoyed the evening along with speeches, laughter, dancing, live band, and a magnificent three course meal plus drinks.For those who wished to find accommodation for the evening close by there was plenty available including hotels in Lilydale and a cabin at the local Caravan Park which was accessed via a courtesy bus.

Our daughter got married at the Vines on Friday. We had the most wonderful time. All the staff went out of their way to make the bridal party feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble. All of the guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, the quality of the food and the wonderful views. Thank you for making this day so special. A very grateful mother and father of the bride.

Attended wedding reception on the 16 October! The staffs were great! They are well informed of patrons with multiple allergens. Venue is great and the service is good! The view is great ! Would definitely recommend this place for wedding reception

We got married at the venue on the 09/09/2022 and my goodness it was truly the most special day. We couldn’t ask for more. From the minute we met with them, all the way up to our wedding day, Angela and Zoe were incredible, their communication is amazing and they were both so incredibly helpful. We did a cocktail style wedding and honestly it couldn’t have gone any better, we have had the best feedback from our guests in regard to the food. They have all said that the food was immaculate and it never stopped coming! Everyone was well fed and more than happy.Our day was seamless and everyone had the best day. We made a last minute decision to have our first dance outside and without question, Steven made it happen within minutes.Zoe came upstairs prior to us walking down the aisle and encouraged all of us to stay calm and she perfectly directed us on how to walk and when to walk, I didn’t realize how important this part was! I made and setup the venue the morning of the wedding and Zoe gave me such great advice and recommendations that made my vision come together.Angela’s communication is next to none, she would reply to my emails with guidance and care and kept me very calm throughout the planning process.We honestly could rave about this venue until the cows come home. If you are thinking of having your wedding here… DO IT! You will not regret it.

We have no words for how amazing all the staff at Vine are. From the owners all the way to the wait staff on the night. Planning our wedding was made so much easier with the help George, Angela and Steven! Everything is phenomenal from the chic modern venue, views, food and coordination.It goes a long way to say that these people are not just great at what they do, but they love what they do and genuinely good people at heart.Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we have Vines to thank a lot for that.The only shame is that we can only go back if there is a function. Would love to just travel up and have dinner or lunch there occasionally.

The most incredible day!From booking the venue to the lead up, the Vines was so helpful, organised and made sure everything was perfect. We enjoyed this beautiful place celebrating our sons wedding. Everything was done with exceptional eye to details. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Angela and her team at VYV is such an amzing team.They are patient, honest, helpful and lovely to deal with.The venue itself is a beauty! And it was a no brainer picking this venue for our recent wedding(Feb, 2022).The food is simply mouth watering, none of our guests went hungry or thirsty.Everyone was just praising the food served and the service provided.Do yourself a favour and don't look anywhere else.You won't regret it!

We had our wedding at Vines recently, and we couldn't have asked for anything more!The team at Vines were so incredibly accommodating and professional, and did everything to ensure the day went smoothly.If anything popped up that was a slight hiccup, Rodney was onto it immediately and made sure that it was taken care of.The venue itself was beautiful, and a perfect balance of spacious and intimate, and the food was amazing.We've heard nothing but the highest of praises from all of our guests about the vibe, the food, the space and how much they enjoyed everything.We'll definitely be recommending Vines to anyone we know who's searching for a venue.

Words cannot describe how incredible our experience was with Vines of the Yarra Valley. Special mention to our amazing wedding coordinator Angela who helped us navigate our big day through the middle of the crazy stress of the pandemic. George, Steve, Angela, Jeanette, Rodney and all of the Staff made our wedding absolutely perfect! So many guests complimented the beautiful food and the stunning views. This venue is so gorgeous, we cannot recommend it enough!
